Bio

Pedro Avanah is an artist songwriter born in Portugal with numerous compositions reflected in his past musical projects in Lisbon. Pedro moved to England in the mid 90's for the love of music and remembers attending his first interview at the independent Label 4AD, London, with a cassette tape in his hand and a pocket full of dreams. Pedro since then has continued to write having mainly focused on instrumentals adding to his individual repertoire. Pedro is self-taught and unsigned but feels his "school of life" has given him a strong relationship with his guitar both in solitude and in communion through a process of extemporized and studied composition. He has played his original music live with the JazzRock Trio Light From The Future but has plans to perform the very same music in their acoustic versions, in and around Cambridgeshire.
